Overview
Create and manage room types, areas, and unit classes. Follow the steps below to complete this task.
In the left sidebar, expand Settings then Master Data then click Master Type / Unit. The page lists all existing unit types with name, unit count, system tag, and action buttons.
/settings/master-data/master-unitThe table has four columns. Unit Type Name is the display name. Unit is the number of physical units linked to this type. Tag is the auto-generated system identifier (e.g. #unit_type_suite). Action contains the Units, Edit, and Delete buttons.
Click the dark blue Add New Profile button in the top-right corner of the page. The Master Type Add modal dialog will appear with two fields to fill in.
Click the Unit Type Name field and enter a name (e.g. Suite). This field is required. Optionally click the Description text area and enter a short explanation of this unit type.
Click the dark blue Save button. The modal closes automatically and a green Successfully saved data toast appears. The new type is added to the top of the list with Unit count 0 and an auto-generated tag.
